Getting the entire Netherlands to sing, and preferably all together. That is the ambition of Start to Sing! Thanks to our campaign, everyone—of all ages—can participate in numerous activities, workshops, and open rehearsals where the joy of singing together takes center stage.
Start to Sing 2026
The Start to Sing campaign week will take place this year from September 19 to 27, 2026.
Feel like singing? It’s more fun together! Because singing together is wonderful, accessible, and can be done anywhere! On top of that, singing is also incredibly good for you. Letting your voice be heard helps to overcome barriers, open up, and connect with the people around you.
We are warmly inviting the entire Netherlands to plan a singing activity during this period. We will shine an extra spotlight on your activity that week, bundle all initiatives, and include them in a broader communication and media campaign. You couldn't ask for better visibility!
Online platform
But we don't just focus on singing in September. Through this website, we provide a platform for singing activities all year round:
