Would you like to organize an activity? Or add an existing activity to our calendar? For example a workshop, open (choir) rehearsal, group singing lessons, sing-along, sing-along concert, open stage? Every singing activity is welcome at Start to Sing. This year, our campaign week will run from 19 to 27 September 2026. Take advantage of it and be sure to plan something in that week too!
Who can submit an activity?
With Start to Sing, we motivate all people in the Netherlands who are actively involved in singing in one way or another to organize something:
- Choirs, informal singing groups and ensembles, singing groups of friends
- Organizers of sing-alongs and sing-along concerts
- Conductors
- Singing teachers and other art educators
- Organisations in the social domain and healthcare
- Schools
- Churches and other religious institutions
- Businesses
- Stages
- And so on!
In this way you help to give the general public an extra push to start singing!
The type of activity does not matter, as long as there is an an element of singing together and you can actively participate as a participant.
How can I register an activity?
- Click the button 'To the registration form'
- Create your activity by filling in and submitting the registration form. Don't forget to upload a nice photo of your activity or organization!
Once your activity has been checked, it will appear on the calendar of this site. Moreover, the campaign website remains a portal throughout the year to promote your singing activities free of charge.
